There's a pit on the far West (right) side with water from the past two days' torrential rains - that was the support wall for the West tower and also the ambulance bay. Almost everything else has been broken up, ground into gravel, mixed with soil, and packed into the basements of the various buildings. At this point, all that really remains of Porter Memorial Hospital is the old Medical Arts Building on the Northwest corner, which is still occupied by the Wound Care Clinic, and the old Laundry Building, which I understand the university will be keeping and using for something.

They're breaking up the old concrete into smaller chunks, then feeding it into a large crusher, then mixing the crushed concrete with soil and packing it into the hole where the sub-basement and basement used to be.

However, today you can really see the leveling of the lot happening, how they're grinding up the old building's concrete and mixing it with soil, then dumping it in the basements and packing it down.

Currently, the only residents are the Wound Care clinic staff until their new space is ready, at which point the building will also be torn down.

The north entrance has a metal railing with decorative ironwork. This is one of the emblems - the central medallion with the letters "MAB" on it.
