Resting Place of The King

Elvis's grave is now at Graceland. Elvis and his mother, Gladys, were both buried in a public cemetery in Memphis but shortly after his death, his father Vernon petitioned the city to allow them to be reinterred at Graceland out of security concerns. Elvis now lies next to his mother, father, and grandmother in the Meditation Garden behind the house. There is a small marker in honor of his stillborn twin brother who was buried in Elvis's hometown of Tupelo, MS. Olympus E-M5, Zuiko 12-50mm
