Mary's River Bridge

This covered bridge was built in 1854 and remained in duty until 1930. Originally built along a private toll road between Bremen, IL and the Mississippi River port of Chester, IL, the bridge is currently part of a little state park along Rte 150. All of the timbers are original, with the exception of the decking. The park department has done a very good job of preservation. Olympus E-M5, Zuiko 12-50.
