Tom Keifer 1

Tom Keifer, singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist with the 90's metal band Cinderella, during a performance with his solo band at Viper Alley in Lincolnshire, IL. Keifer has long been a favorite of mine. I was with Jim Peterik, co-founder of the bands The Ides of March and Survivor, who's a good friend of mine. He and Tom co-wrote three of the songs on Tom's upcoming solo album, and we were Tom's guests at the show. Lighting was typical for a small nightclub, without a handy spotlight, so the E-M5/12-50 combo was really getting a workout to get usable images. If I had brought the E-1, it would have been a non-starter. As it was, I should have probably bumped the max ISO up from 3200 to 6400 to help stop motion better.
