Detail shot of one of the pieces of ornamental stonework on the old Illinois Central Hospital in Chicago, where my brother and I were born. You can see the letters "ICRR" in the crest, which stand for "Illinois Central Rail Road," the company that built the hospital in 1929. The land is now owned by the University of Chicago who demolished the hosptial in 2011 and is building an academic building on the lot. Olympus E-1, Zuiko 14-54mm
