Dr. Robert Haselkorn

Dr. Haselkorn is a distinguished professor of molecular genetics and cellular biology. He's also one of the folks I support at work. After talking to him and researching his history, I discovered that he's been at the University of Chicago since 1961, a year longer than I've been on the planet. He has an impressive academic and professional history, including fellowships in several distinguished scientific societies, is on the board of others, chair of one. I saw an interesting photo oppportunity. I asked Dr. Haselkorn to leave his office just the way it is - that is the desk of a man deep in his work. He is semi-retired now, but is continuing his research and still making important discoveries.
