Heublein Tower

Yesterday was the last day in 2013 when this former home was open to visitors. We hiked up Talcott Mountain for about an hour until we reached it. The most amazing thing is that the tower is mostly a steel construction and what appears to be walls is just a thin layer of stucko on wire mesh.
