Memphis Soul

The legendary Royal Studio in Memphis, TN is where soul superstar Al Green and many other legends recorded. I hate to use past tense because it is still an ongoing studio, in fact, one of the oldest continuously operating recording studios in the world, starting in 1957. Originally built as the Shamrock Theatre in 1915, it later became the Rex Theatre, then the Royal Theatre, and finally, in 1957, was gutted and became the Royal Studio. Olympus E-M5, Panasonc 20/1.7
