Taffy Pull

No county fair is complete without at least one saltwater taffy vendor. Unfortunately, the one at our fair had an extremely limited flavor selection, but at least we could add that to our annual Fair Food Checklist. For those not familiar, taffy is composed of sugar, corn starch, more sugar, butter, salt, and more sugar. Once it's mixed and cooked to the right point, the mass is dumped onto a table and rolled into a log, which is then hooked onto the fingers of the puller, which continually kneads the taffy to soften it up and add air.
