Taliesin Fellow Frances Nemtin

When my wife and I toured Taliesin West in 2011, one of the treats was a chance to sit and have tea with Frances Nemtin, a charming lady who was one of the few surviving Taliesin Fellows who had actually worked with Wright. Frances had actually joined the Fellowship and started working with Wright right after World War II. It's one thing to tour a place like Taliesin West and see what Wright had left behind, and it's a totally different thing to actually meet and talk with someone who had worked with the man day in and day out. It was an extremely bright day, and she stayed in the shade. The F70 was having a bit of a challenge balancing the dark shade with the full, clear-sky Arizona sun, but in this case, the subject transcends the technical. Fuji F70EXR
