Ben Cauley

Ben was a member of the Bar-Kays, Otis Redding's backup band. When Redding's plane crashed into an icy lake in 1967, Ben was the only survivor. He clung to the seat cushion to stay afloat until he was rescued. A very shy, unassuming, sweetheart of a man, but a monster when he blows that trumpet. One of the many surprises that evening.
