Jammin' With Orville

Valparaiso is also known as the home of Orville Redenbacher and Redenbacher popcorn. Now it's owned by a conglomerate and they shut down the main plant here in town, but the fact remains that Orville developed his strain of popcorn in the fields right around Valpo. This bronze was erected in his memory on a bench at the entrance to the downtown park/pavilion.
