Drove past this decaying building in Campbell Hill, IL on my way to my dad's this past week. Many of the towns in our area are small farming communities and have been hit hard by poor economics for a long time. Many of them grew up around railroads (both the Illinois Central and the Missouri Pacific ran through our area), often around a grain elevator siding.
