Brothers in Music

When I booked Dan for his first solo concert after Eric Lowen's passing, he asked if I knew of any guitar players that could work with him. My immediate reply was Mike Aquino, a dear friend and one of the finest guitar players in Chicago. Dan trusted me and contacted Mike. The first time they ever played together was at soundcheck for that concert. During the show, the chemistry was obvious and the music was magical. Mike is now Dan's go-to player every time he comes to Chicago. This photo makes me smile. These are two guys really enjoying the music, really enjoying each other's company, two complete professionals who understand what each is thinking and what direction the other is going to go. The fact that I made the match happen is one of the joys in my life.
