Just Having Fun

The band Blood, Sweat & Tears just played a local casino. Their current lead singer is Bo Bice, a finalist in the Carrie Underwood season of the show "American Idol." On that show, Bo sang the Ides of March song, "Vehicle" which was written by Jim. In fact, back in 1969, Jim tried to give a demo cassette of the song to the original version of BS&T and they ignored it. The Ides went on to record it and went to #1 on the charts. It was a bit of a full-circle moment when Bo added it into the current BS&T set, and at this show asked JP to come up on stage and sing it with him. You can tell by the looks on their faces that there's nothing else they'd rather be doing right then.
