This past Saturday evening my friends The Ides of March kicked off their 50th anniversary season with a big concert at the House of Blues in Chicago. They also videotaped it for a DVD to be released later this year, so I took advantage of the fact that there were already camera guys walking around on stage to get up close to the drummer and keyboardist, two guys who don't normally get in the photos because they're in the back and behind equipment. We had another photographer in the crowd with the "big glass", so I concentrated on the closeup stuff that I can do. Olympus E-M5, Panasonic 20/1.7
