Festival Set
Every year the Indiana Community Theatre League holds a festival where competing theatres bring a 60-minute excerpt of a play to be adjudicated. Winner gets to move on to regionals and then nationalsl
There are a number of rules - one of which is that your set needs to fit into this box on the stage floor before your performance and after. The entire cast and crew must start with at least one foot in the box, then the stage manager starts the clock and you have 10 minutes to set up your stage and get ready to perform.
At the end of your show, everyone starts back in the box, the signal is given, and you have 5 minutes to strike your set, make sure the stage is clean, and then put one foot back in the box.
