Pa'uohi'iaka (Hi'iaka's skirt)AKA
Jacquemontia ovalifolia subsp. sandwicensis (Convolvulaceae)
I find this plant growing over the rocks on the west end of Molokai. It does not seem to be endemic to Hawaii, but I am not sure of that. Its medicinal properties are in the leaves, which also give it its Hawaiian name. The flower is about the size of an old British six-pence (a bit smaller than a dime) across the diameter.
