Rendezvous Dining Room

Charlie Vergos had a diner in downtown Memphis in the '40's. In 1948, he cleared out the basement, looking for new ideas. Discovered the unused coal chute which would provide access for an exhaust hood. So, he installed a smoker and went into the BBQ business. It's dark, kitschy, and fun. Great food as well.
