The Ides Of March and Dick Biondi
The City of Berwyn, IL, where the original Ides all grew up, honored the band by naming the street in front of Morton West High School, where they got their start, The Ides Of March Way. This photo was taken at the naming ceremony, and features the four original Ides (who are still together today) and radio legend Dick Biondi, a longtime friend and supporter of the band.
Left to right: Bob Bergland, bass and vocals; Jim Peterik, guitar and lead vocals; Larry Millas, guitar and vocals; Dick Biondi; Mike Borch, drums and vocals.
Dick Biondi is a man that you can apply the term "legend" to without any reservations. One of the most famous deejays in America, he was the first man to play the Beatles on US radio. Still going strong on the radio in Chicago, Dick is one of the friendliest, most down-to-Earth guys you'd ever want to meet.
