Sony A65 vs Minolta A200 from Boris

Crops from test photos from Boris. These show the chimney of his house as taken with both cameras. One photo shows the same area at 100% pixels (A65 on left, A200 on right). Another shows the same except the A65 image has been reduced to 61% to account for the different size of the sensors. Ideally, the chimney image should be the same size on the second image. The fact that they are not represents a difference in distance/focal length between the two cameras. Note that the A65 image is far superior.

Sony A65 @ 61% & Minolta A200 @100%

Sony A65 crop reduced to same dimensions as Minolta A200 at 100%. Note size discrepancy between the two which is due to distance/focal length differences
