Mausoleum

Since New Orleans has an extremely high water table, all burials are in above-ground vaults. Makes for some fairly eerie sightseeing. And, partly because of age and partly because of the climate, a lot of the plaster and brickwork is crumbling. This shows a single vault in front of a mausoleum.
