Time Keeps on Slippin', Slippin', Slippin'...

On this corner used to stand Mary Lou's Restaurant, our family's place named after my mom. After we closed, for a while new owners would just remodel the existing building. However, in the past couple of years, they finally moved the gas station/convenience store from across the street, bought the adjacent property, and tore down our building and built one big combined store. When I saw this, it felt as if the last physical traces of our family's contributions to Steeleville history had been swept away... it made me sad. Olympus E-M5, Panasonic 20/1.7
