About Zone-10 (ZX) the Website
Zone-10.com (aka Zone-Ten, ZX) the website is wholly owned by Image66 Photography a registered Iowa company of Kenneth Norton in partnership with ZoneTen Photography which is owned by Khen Lim in Malaysia. Zone-10.com exists primarily to serve the photographic industry through education, reference and resource material as well as provide business-to-business and business-to-customer services.
As part of our Affirmative Action policy, Zone-10 particularly encourages the participation of women photographers and will promote as actively as possible in this area. It is our belief that the equality of rights is easily matched by some of the talents we've been able to see coming from women photographers.
Zone-10 aspires to be a center for photographic resources where the focus is on the photographic art and craft. We have no alignment to any particular equipment manufacturer despite whatever overtones that may be recognisable within the website proper. Therefore the resources provided within the website are entirely offered by Zone-10.
Zone-10’s Editorial Unit offers a wide range of articles on the photographic craft that covers techniques, products and ideas including histories, profiles and commentaries. There’re articles from many of our contributors who are spread across the world, offering perspectives that are encouraging, illuminating and inspiring.
Not to want to reinvent the wheel, Zone-10’s Product Review section is unusual and perhaps a touch unique. You’ll find products including accessories that are a little out of the ordinary. While we may indulge in the odd camera review, even our approach is more hands-on and practical. Specs are hard to argue and you can find them in every corner of the Internet but our reviews usually have a pragmatic edge founded on personal experiences.
We also have a Discussion Forum for registered members to participate and create their own interconnecting communities and we even support instructor-led students to create their own personal chatrooms within our forum space where they can have a compelling sense of belonging to an ever broadening community.
